Current Call for TEAAM awards:

The Technology and Engineering Educator Association of Maryland (TEEAM) is asking for your help in identifying New Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or STEM teachers who should be recognized for their outstanding contributions and work.  They must be teachers with three or less years of teaching.  The award will be given at the TEEAM Awards banquet in February.

Please note that the TEEAM Board is also looking for nominations for these three awards:

Leadership Award: This leadership award of excellence is presented to the Maryland administrator who has been instrumental in the development and implementation of technology education in the State. The award recipient is an active member of TEEAM and serves in a supervisory position at the state or local levels (administrator/ supervisor/ coordinator /resource teacher) or in other areas of leadership in the field of Technology and Engineering Education, STEM or Computer Science.

Advocacy Award: The person, business, industry, or organization who receives this award is a true advocate for Technology and Engineering Education at the local and state levels.  Promoting and supporting the profession and the value of being technologically literate are key elements in the granting of this award.

Lifetime Achievement: This award of excellence is presented to the Maryland educator who has dedicated their career to the development and implementation of Technology Education at the local or state level. The award recipient has been an active member of TEEAM for five years and is a classroom teacher/administrator/supervisor/coordinator/resource teacher in the area of Technology and Engineering Education.
